Office Manager


The primary responsibilities of the Office Manager are to ensure an excellent first impression to visitors; an organized and clean work environment for employees and a fiduciary responsibility to the travel and office supplies budget lines. Administrative support to the CEO and President is a priority. The Office Manager works in partnership with the management team on professional and personal matters that enhance productivity and growth of the business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Director of First Impressions
  • Work to improve systems that deliver Exceptional Customer Experience
  • Work to enhance employee satisfaction
  • Project management:
    • Prepare Research and Focus Group quotes
    • Schedule coverage for and manage in-house research events
    • Maintain advertising contracts for this business segment
    • Keep database of client contact/assist in growth of this business segment
    • Collect customer satisfaction surveys
  • Administrative support:
    • Review, conduct follow ups on mail and voicemail
    • Review, prioritize, and flag executive on important items that require attention
    • Work with travel agent on travel arrangements
      1. manage the travel budget line
      2. prepare travel packets
  • Support to Finance & HR Department
  • Conference room scheduling and meeting preparation
  • Office management – order office supplies, search for ways to reduce office expenses
  • Letter writing
  • Filing

  • Has vision as to how they can help us grow the business and grow along with it
  • Able to keep professional and personal confidences. Not a gossip.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent
  • Expert in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Possesses strong math skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Previous experience in Client Relationship Management software, preferred
  • Typing @ 40 wpm
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
