Nicole Philipp is an Account Manager at Tipping Point Communications, where she assists clients to help meet their marketing and communications goals. Nicole has a diverse range of clients including Connors & Ferris, Messner Flooring, Willow Domestic Violence Center, and Watkins Glen International.
At the start of her career, Nicole worked for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra as Director of Media Relations. During this five-year stint, she handled media, event planning, crisis communication, and assisted orchestra operations. Nicole’s experience with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra also allowed entailed working directly with legendary artists such as Marvin Hamlisch. After moving from Pittsburgh to Rochester, Nicole accepted a position with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, where she announced the appointment of Arild Remmereit as the orchestra’s thirteenth music director. During her time with both orchestras, Nicole placed stories with The New York Times, The Toronto Star, The Today Show, Al-Jezeera TV, state media in the People’s Republic of China, and various publications throughout Europe.
After her posts with the two respective orchestras, Nicole moved on to become the Marketing Director for two Wilmorite Management Groups properties: Park Point at RIT and Marketplace Mall. After four years of retail marketing, Nicole took her graphic design, marketing, communications, and fundraising skills to consult for a handful of Rochester-area non-profits before joining the Tipping Point team in late 2016. In her free time, Nicole volunteers to serve on committees for ABVI/Goodwill, Young Women’s College Prep, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The third of which awarded her with the honor of Rochester’s Finest in 2016.
